I AM SUPER super stoked to be choreographing FUN HOME for Middlebury College & Town Hall Theatre’s joint production. This poignant musical, by Jeanine Tessori, is one of MY favorites. “Come to the fun home”!

Elisa will once again be teaching performance technique for Spotlight Theatre Academy's new class "Intro to Musical Theatre."

SUMMER 2021

Elisa had a blast teaching performing arts classes in-person at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts and Town Hall Theater, where she also choreographed Newsies with THT Youth Company.

WINTER 2021

Elisa has revived her role as faculty member for Paper Mill Playhouse, teaching Acting Technique, Triple Threat and Broadway Bootcamp classes. She also offers private acting coaching. So grateful to be back.

SUMMER 2020

Elisa is thrilled to be performing this weekend August 14 - 16th at the Vergennes Opera House in “Little City Cabaret”. Come and share in the joy of Broadway show tunes, while supporting local theater. We will be performing live in-person (following social distancing mandates) as well as presenting a video of the entire show, with backstage clips. Elisa will once again be collaborating with the empowering Vanguard Theater Company, teaching online musical theatre and adult acting classes to students from all over the country and abroad.

Elisa is delighted to sing alongside other New York City professionals in this annual Vermont tradition “Broadway Direct.” We will be showcasing the effervescent, classic Broadway hit music of Jerry Herman (“Hello Dolly,” “Mame” and “La Cage aux Follies” to name a few) Don’t miss it!

AUTUMN 2019

"Much Ado About Nothing" by the Middlebury Actor's Workshop, choreographed by Elisa Van Duyne. Congratulations to the talented cast of "Much Ado…", creatively presented by Middlebury Actors Workshop in the round. This production, set in the late 1940's around a dinner table, showcased the Shakespearean play is if being put on by friends, reunited after WWII. Elisa had the honor of choreographing the dance pieces, incorporating lively and romantic swing dancing, including Lindy Hop, Charleston, and East Coast Swing.

SPRING/SUMMER 2019

In July, Elisa was back on the boards singing, acting, & dancing in BETTER BY TWO at Vermont’s quintessential Skinner Barn. She was elated to perform alongside a talented cast, including fellow Broadway veteran, Peter Boyton, pictured below with Elisa singing the duet “Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better” from ANNIE GET YOUR GUN.

Lady Byron lives.

This Spring, Elisa had the honor of portraying the conflicted, yet stalwart Lady Byron in Middlebury Actor’s Workshop production of ADA AND THE ENGINE. She also served as choreographer for this play with music.

WINTER 2019

ELISA has just joined the Vermont Musical Theatre Academy faculty at SPOTLIGHT VERMONT, teaching theatre and dance. It’s such a blast teaching and creating with these dedicated students.
